La Souqueto is a beautifully restored Maison Bourgeoise, affectionately named after the vines that provide shade to both the front and back of the house. The interior is tastefully decorated with a combination of antique and modern furnishings. Situated on the outskirts of the village, you can enjoy the soothing sounds and picturesque view of the nearby river while still being conveniently located in the heart of the old medieval center.The ambiance at La Souqueto is relaxed and welcoming, offering a wealth of experiences to indulge your body, mind, and senses. Our breakfast spread features freshly brewed coffee, tea, flaky croissants, breads, preserves, and seasonal delights such as tarts, layered yogurt and fruit cups, or cakes. The house is adorned with captivating artwork and artifacts, and our spacious, brightly lit artist studio and libraries provide endless inspiration. For moments of private relaxation, we offer a roof terrace and a cozy patio. The charming rooms are adorned with pretty decor, and we provide toiletries, hairdryers, and plush towels. If there is anything else you require, simply let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
In addition to our delectable evening meals available upon request, there are two restaurants within walking distance, one conveniently located next door and another by the river. The village itself offers a range of activities including swimming, petanque, tennis, fishing, and horse riding.

Getting to our retreat is a breeze. If you are coming from Perpignan on the A9, take exit 38 (Narbonne Sud) and follow the N9 towards Beziers. At the third roundabout, turn left towards Marcorignan and continue straight for approximately 12 kilometers. Then, turn right towards Mirepeisset. Find us in the center of the village, between the restaurant La Taverna and the little grocery shop. Convenient parking is available on the right-hand side of the restaurant.
If you are traveling from Montpellier on the A9, take exit 36 (Castres, Mazamet) and turn right towards Castres, Mazamet, and St. Pons. Continue until you reach the turn-off for MONTADY, then turn left at the T-junction. Follow the road straight for 23 kilometers, then turn left shortly after Argeliers towards Mirepeisset. Look out for signposts and turn right into Mirepeisset center village. You will find us between the restaurant La Taverna and the little grocery shop, with parking available on the right-hand side of the restaurant.
If you are coming from Carcassonne, we recommend taking the D610 (the direct road from Carcassonne to Beziers) instead of the Autoroute. Follow the green sign for Narbonne, then look out for the sign for Trebes on the left, which will lead you to the D610. Continue straight towards Beziers on this route. After Pouzols, take a right at the large roundabout towards St Marcel, then left at the next signpost for Mirepeisset. We are located between the restaurant La Taverna and the little grocery shop, with parking available on the right-hand side of the restaurant.
