Some important cities in the area include Carcassonne, Perpignan, and Toulouse. To reach Espéraza from Carcassonne, you can take a 50-kilometer drive south along the Aude valley on the N118, passing through Limoux and Couiza before turning right towards Espéraza. Ryanair offers affordable flights from Stansted (near London) to Carcassonne, especially during the low season, and you can rent a car at the airport. Alternatively, there is a rail link and a coach service from the airport to Espéraza.

From Perpignan, Espéraza is located 70 kilometers northwest, near the Spanish border. To get there, you can take the D117 west to Quillan, then switch to the D118 and head north before turning left towards Espéraza. Ryanair also operates daily flights from Stansted to Perpignan at discounted rates during midweek in the low season. Car rentals are available at the airport, and there is a coach service from Perpignan as well.
