Description for B&B:
The château de Chéronne and its beautifully landscaped park are situated in the Perche Sarthois region, surrounded by 400 hectares of lush woods and meadows. The front pond is home to the Chéronne river, which supports a diverse range of animal life. The entrance gatehouse, believed to be the original castle built around 1490, is recognized by the French National Trust.
Constructed during the 16th century, the castle underwent modifications in the 17th century to remove its defensive architectural elements such as moats and drawbridges. In the 19th century, the main facades were restored in a charming renaissance style.
