Directions

To get to Léran from Blagnac/Toulouse, take the A61 on the peripherique and follow the signs for Carcassonne, Barcelona, and FOIX PEAGE (not Foix RN 20). Once you're on the A61 and have passed the toll booth, look for the A66 fork that leads to Andorra. At the next toll booth, the road merges with the N20 in the direction of Foix. Take exit 6 towards Mirepoix and Lavelanet. Join the D119, the first exit on the right at the roundabout, and continue through Les Pujols, Rieucros, Coutens, and Besset until you reach Mirepoix. On the outskirts of the town, go straight at the first roundabout and at the second roundabout, turn right onto the D625 towards Lavelanet.

If you're coming from Carcassonne, follow the D119 towards Mirepoix. Continue through Montréal and Fanjeaux in the direction of Mirepoix. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs for "toutes directions". At the second set of traffic lights, turn left and then go straight at the roundabout onto the D625 towards Lavelanet.

Pass through the village of La Bastide de Bousignac before reaching Aigues-Vives, which should take around 8 minutes. When you see the sign announcing Aigues-Vives, slow down and indicate left because the left turn to Léran is hidden behind some buildings on the left side of the road. This is the only sign for Léran. Take the D28, which will lead you directly to the village in about 4 minutes.

After passing the church, turn right into cours St Jacques. The mairie/school will be on your left. Le Castelou is the next building on the left, number 8 Cours St Jacques, just past the little crossroads. The house is pale yellow with white outlines around the windows.
