Description for B&B:

Villa du Parc is a charming manor built in the 1930s, featuring the distinctive "Basque style" architecture. Today, it offers a range of holiday apartments available for rent on a weekly or short-term basis, with the option of bed and breakfast accommodations. These apartments vary in size, comfortably accommodating between two and four individuals.

The property boasts a spacious hall with a cozy fireplace and comfortable armchairs, as well as complimentary internet access, games, books, magazines, and a video projector. Underneath the manor, there is a large underground garage where guests can securely store and work on their bikes, skis, and other equipment.

Spanning over 8000 square meters (approximately three acres), the grounds surrounding the manor feature majestic century-old trees and offer breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. Guests can enjoy various amenities including a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Additionally, there are plenty of seating options, a barbecue area, and a playground for children. Located on the outskirts of Prades, home to the renowned Casals festival, the property allows guests to reach the town center within a ten-minute walk. There, they can indulge in the local restaurants, cinemas, concerts, shops, and weekly market.

Thanks to Prades' exceptional location, guests can engage in their favorite holiday activities. Within a mere forty-five minutes, they can soak up the sun on the beach or engage in hiking or skiing at altitudes exceeding two thousand meters (approximately seven thousand feet). The region also offers opportunities for rock climbing, spelunking, canyoning, white-water kayaking, and paragliding, with many of these activities available year-round due to the Mediterranean climate. For a unique experience, guests can embark on the "yellow train," a narrow-gauge railway that traverses a picturesque valley and ascends to the high plateau of the nearby mountains.

Culture enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Vauban-designed fortresses, Cathar castles, the Dali museum or house, the Casals festival, and various stunning abbeys. With the diverse offerings of our region, an unforgettable vacation is not only possible but practically guaranteed!
