With original oak beams, a cozy wood-burning fire, and a covered terrace boasting views of the village and town square, this rural gite retains many of its original features.

Situated in the heart of the sunny Var region, this self-catering house provides easy access to local shops and facilities, making it as convenient as staying in a hotel. Whether you prefer a quick snack or a gourmet meal, there are plenty of choices within close proximity. Additionally, a café downstairs serves coffee from as early as 6 am.

The village offers a vibrant atmosphere year-round, with over 8 restaurants and bars, as well as a supermarket and bakeries all within 500 meters of the house. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the unspoiled beauty of the Flayosc area, which offers 200 kilometers of walking and mountain biking trails. Horseback riding is also a popular way to explore the surroundings.

Maison Mimosa, the gite itself, features 2 bedrooms and 1 spacious bathroom, accommodating up to 5 guests. Spread across 3 floors, each measuring 27 square meters, the house boasts a large lounge, a dining room, and a country-style kitchenette with an open log fire and original oak beamed ceiling. The gite offers all necessary amenities, including crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, bed linen, electricity, and water. Towels for indoor use are provided, and there are no hidden charges. For those visiting during the winter, electric heaters are available. However, please note that the stone staircase and four floors may make the property unsuitable for small children or individuals with mobility issues.

Flayosc itself is a peaceful rural village that embodies the Provençal way of life. With its rich history, including a former shoe-making industry, the village offers a glimpse into the past through its archives and landmarks. Cultural activities abound, with a variety of clubs, societies, and events organized by the Bureau de Tourisme et d'Animation Rurale. Summer brings traditional celebrations and fairs, such as the "Fête de Saint-Laurent" and the Arts & Crafts Fair, providing visitors with an authentic experience.
