Pendant 9 jours nous avons été des résidents heureux en chambre dhôte à la « Chapelle »
La chambre, suffisamment spacieuse, une salle de bains confortable, une terrasse « privative » et ombragée où il faisait agréable de piqueniquer, une grande terrasse à partager avec déventuels autres hôtes, un frigo qui nous fournissait les ingrédients à bonne température, une piscine dont la qualité de leau était irréprochable, un environnement fleuri à souhait et, le matin, un petit-déjeuner copieux, proposant non seulement pains et croissants goûteux mais encore des confitures et yoghourts maison, sans oublier les biscuits et jus de fruits régionaux. Seul bémol, labsence de fromage ou de charcuterie locale. Il semble que ces aliments fassent plutôt partie des habitudes à lintérieur des terres mais, pour se plaindre de leur absence, aurait-il fallu en faire la demande à Michèle ce qui ne fut pas le cas au vu de la richesse de loffre.
Le plus important était certainement la qualité de laccueil, lamabilité de la maîtresse de maison, soucieuse de transmettre, si elle en soupçonnait le besoin, des informations utiles et même indispensables à la prise de connaissance de lîle. Sans avoir lair de nous « prendre par la main », elle nous faisait part de son attachement à lîle et de son envie que nous lapprécions à sa juste valeur. Les suggestions de visites, dactivités ne manquaient pas, communiquées par un fascicule intelligemment déposé dans les « studios » et la salle commune et aimablement complété de vive voix lorsque le visiteur laissait entrevoir un besoin ou une envie.
Et le maître de maison, chargé des travaux de maintenance, pourquoi ne pas lui demander de lever les bâches sur ses voitures anciennes et qui deviendront, à nen pas douter, une collection quil sera agréable de visiter, guidé par lenthousiasme de son propriétaire.
Constatant que les avis positifs constituent pratiquement lunanimité, je me permets de clore devant le superflu de mes propos en souhaitant tout le succès quils méritent à nos hôtes et les remercie de mavoir ouvert avec leur cur à une aussi splendide et accueillante région.
