Appréciations pour Le Jas du Gabian, Volonne:

Très agréable
Review by: Florely, Sep 2 2016 6:32PM

Directions

To reach our destination, there are different routes depending on your starting point:

1. If you are arriving from Grenoble or Marseilles via the A51 motorway (which is the simplest route), take the southern Sisteron exit and continue through the Valley of Jabron. Look for the sign indicating the direction of Volonne on the roundabout (take the third exit).

2. If you are approaching from the north on the main road, you will need to pass through Sisteron first. Afterward, head towards the southern part of the city where the motorway is located. Look for the roundabout on the A51 that indicates the direction of Volonne.

3. Coming from the south through Chateaux Arnoux, follow the signs for LEscale and then continue on to Volonne.

4. If you are coming from Digne Les Bains, also take the route towards LEscale and then proceed to Volonne.

If you prefer to use public transportation:

- The nearest train station is either Chateau Arnoux, St Auban, or Sisteron. If you are traveling from Aix in Provence TGV, you can reach these stations with an additional hour in the car. From there, shuttles are available to bring you to Digne.

- If you are arriving by plane, the closest airport is Provence Marseilles Marignane, which will require approximately an extra 1 hour and 15 minutes by car.
