Experience the warm hospitality of the Lecomte family at their charming Provençal Bastide, a historic monastery dating back to the late 18th century. Located just minutes away from the vibrant center of Aix en Provence, our Bastide offers four exquisitely decorated guest rooms adorned with elegant period furniture, Provençal fabrics, and luxurious bed linens.Once a mas, bastide, and monastery, our 18th century estate has recently undergone a meticulous two-year restoration, transforming it into a haven of tranquility. Nestled within two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, our property provides a serene and sun-drenched setting, complete with a large swimming pool and recreational activities such as badminton, ping pong, and pétanque under the shade of majestic pine trees.
The sprawling garden boasts a variety of trees including almond, olive, eucalyptus, sycamore, chestnut, and lime, creating a picturesque atmosphere. Additionally, our unique vegetable and herb gardens are a visual delight for all guests.
Start your day with a delectable gourmet breakfast prepared by Caroline, served on the patio, before venturing out to explore the enchanting charms of Aix en Provence and the breathtaking countryside that has inspired renowned painters and poets throughout history.
Each of our four beautifully appointed bedrooms, ranging from 25 to 35 square meters, radiates its own distinct character. Adorned with tasteful antique country-style furnishings, every room offers comfortable bedding with locally sourced fabrics and luxurious linens. Additionally, each room features a cozy sitting area and a well-appointed shower room, ensuring the utmost comfort and well-being of all our guests. Stay connected with our complimentary internet access available in all rooms via our local area network (ethernet and WiFi).

Directions
If you are coming from the North, West, or South on highways, head towards Aix and take the A8 highway towards Nice. Take the first exit, which is exit #30 for Aix - Pont de l’Arc, Luynes. At the first roundabout, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for about 2.3 km and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them and turn right onto it. After about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
If you are coming from the East on A8, take the second exit after the toll, which is also exit #30 for Aix - Pont de l’Arc. Make a U-turn at the first roundabout and drive south onto RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for about 2.4 km and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them and turn right onto it. After about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
If you are coming from Aix Downtown (Rotonde), take Avenue des Belges going south from Rotonde. After the roundabout, continue onto Avenue Pierre Brossolette. Cross over Highway A8 and drive for about 2.4 km on RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them and turn right onto it. After about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
If you are coming from Marignane Airport or TGV Station, exit the airport and take route D9 towards "Gare TGV" and "Vitrolles". Ignore signs to Aix Marseille Highway. Drive for approximately 10 km and D9 will pass below the TGV station. From the TGV station, continue on route D9 towards Aix. Stay on D9 until you reach a traffic light at its end (after a few roundabouts). At the traffic light, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortune Ferrini) and drive for about 2 km. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them and turn right onto it. After about 200m, you will see a gate straight ahead. Enter through the gate.
