Description for B&B:

Situated on the picturesque banks of the Rhone River, the charming Dauphinoise residence in Vertrieu dates back to 1680 and is often referred to as a small castle. This quaint village is home to two other castles, the oldest of which dates back to the 13th century. Our house consists of two apartments and five guest rooms, including a suite. The tranquil landscape offers breathtaking views of the Bugey mountains, and the property is surrounded by a peaceful park spanning over 8000 m2 that leads directly to the Rhone River.

After three years of meticulous work, this functional and inviting home has been transformed into a haven of peace, offering a variety of accommodations to suit each guest's preferences, whether they seek a modern or more stylish atmosphere. As a decorator with over 30 years of experience and with the help of my companion, who has joined me on numerous journeys, we have created a cozy ambiance that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. We have used high-quality materials, primarily sourced from France, including our renowned CASSIOPEE collection of premium linens, which are commonly found in boats, prestigious hotels, and luxury homes. Our collection of decorative objects, paintings, and sculptures showcases the talents of well-known artists whose works consistently appreciate in value.

All of the decorative objects, as well as the majority of the paintings and sculptures, are available for purchase, allowing guests to appreciate these pieces in their intended context and envision them in their own interiors.

The accommodations include an apartment measuring 27 m2 with a comfortable 140-bed and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a shower, toilet, linens, and complimentary Nespresso coffee and tea. Other amenities include a kettle, toaster, microwave, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and a flat-screen satellite TV.

The "Past Present" room features a 140-bed with an additional mattress, a shower, toilet, linens, Nespresso coffee, a large flat-screen TV with TNT channels, bathrobes, and a hairdryer. This room offers a side view and is elegantly decorated in trendy mustard and white colors. Daily cleaning services are provided.
