Description:

Description for B&B:

The Château de Jonquières offers four charming guestrooms in a truly authentic and remarkable location. The garden, covering 2 hectares, embodies the essence of the Mediterranean with its southern trees such as platanes, buis plaqueminiers, micocouliers, lauriers, chênes blancs, and oliviers. The presence of a natural spring and a small bamboo forest adds to its enchanting ambiance. At the far end of the garden, there is a swimming area known as the "bassin de baignade," which used to be a 12x12 meter irrigation pond. We have preserved its original character while ensuring it is suitable for swimming. To provide essential shade, there are laurel trees and a maronnier.

On the first/ground floor, there is a summer living room that remains pleasantly cool during hot weather and features a billiard table. Accessible through a separate entrance on the second floor, you will find a reading room, a spacious dining room, and a "playroom" tower for those who enjoy bridge, scrabble, and puzzles. All the bedrooms, situated on the third floor, offer stunning views of the garden. Overlooking the courtyard, there is a loggia where you can peacefully admire the rooftops of Jonquières village.
