Located just a few kilometers away, you will find the lively Jasserie The Black Rooster and its renowned festival, which takes place throughout the summer.The Valley of Ance is a haven for mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts, offering a range of exciting trails and routes. Additionally, the Volcano Festival of Montpeloux to Saillant promises an array of entertainment including music, theater, circus performances, storytelling, and guided walks and runs throughout the summer.
If hiking is your passion, we have numerous well-marked trails suitable for all levels of experience. For those who prefer biking, we offer rentals of all-terrain bikes (ATVs) and provide access to the High Chaumes circuits from Prabouré, which boast beautiful plateau views and scenic trails along the Valley of Ance in Saint-Anthem Viverols.
During the winter season, we also offer snowshoe rentals, allowing hikers to explore the picturesque ski resort Prabouré located just 3 km away. Additionally, the nearby Domaine Nordic at Col Supeyres offers excellent cross-country skiing opportunities.

In 2012, we will be introducing organic cooking classes led by Marc, a Lyon native with over 25 years of experience as a chef in prestigious restaurants including the renowned Auberge de Collonges au Mont d'Or "Paul Bocuse". Marc's passion for organic cuisine will be shared with our guests during these classes.
To enhance your nature experience, we offer a telescope for stargazing and observing birds and wildlife. Our commitment to sustainability extends to the kitchen, where we prioritize the use of organic and locally sourced produce.
Additionally, horse farms and ski resorts, both for downhill and cross-country skiing, are conveniently located just 3 km away. Should you wish to explore the local gastronomy, three restaurants can be found within a 5 km radius.

Dans un cadre superbe, au grand calme, Sylvia, Marc Cormier et leurs enfants nous reçoivent dans leur jasserie des Hautes Chaumes récemment ouverte : accueil parfait, contact chaleureux, chambres très confortables et meublées avec goût, repas raffiné servi devant la vaste cheminée... un excellent rapport qualité-prix et un lieu de séjour à fortement recommander !
