Located at the top of a hill in the heart of Livradois-Forez Natural Park, often referred to as the Toscana of the Auvergne, this charming small farm has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. It is a place that caters to all, whether you seek relaxation or wish to engage in the numerous activities available.Surrounded by a beautiful garden and a field used for haymaking, the farm seamlessly blends into the nearby wood. A delightful path leads down to the village of Vertolaye, allowing for easy exploration.
Regardless of the season, La Faye offers an array of enchanting walks through the surrounding forests.
The spacious and comfortable lounge provides a perfect retreat for guests. When weather permits, meals can be enjoyed in the garden or the covered yard, with Table d'Hôte available three times a week.
Each room at La Faye is equipped with a washbowl, shower, and toilet, ensuring utmost convenience and comfort. Guests will find an assortment of games, books, and literature detailing the various activities and attractions in the area. Internet access is available via ADSL WIFI.

To reach Vertolaye, located between Thiers and Ambert, follow these directions:
1. Starting from Thiers, continue past Olliergues until you see the sign for Vertolaye.
2. Shortly after, you will come across a junction on your left indicating Vertolaye Centre.
3. Do not take the road towards the center. Instead, continue for approximately 50 meters and look for a small road between two houses on your left. There will be a sign indicating La Faye.
4. Take this road, which climbs steeply.
5. At the T-crossing, turn right and then take the left fork, following the sign for La Faye.
6. This part of the road becomes even steeper.
7. Near the top, you will notice a small farm on your right with a cross. The house on the left, with a small front yard, is your destination.
8. The house can be identified by its glass logo.
