Description for Gite

The hameau of FOUQUIERE is a charming location nestled in the heart of the picturesque Orne countryside. With its traditional architecture, including charming facades, unique openings, Gadag, fireplaces, and bread ovens, it beautifully showcases the rural heritage of Lower Normandy. This hamlet has been adapted and cherished by generations since the fourteenth century.

Surrounded by orchards, meadows, and woods, the Hamlet Fouquières offers a tranquil setting. It also features fantastic amenities such as a heated pool, an equestrian center, several acres of land, and a stunning orchard with 70 tall apple trees. Explore the sunken lanes adorned with hedges, relax by the ponds, or watch the horses grazing in the meadows (including French saddles, ponies, and walkers).

Within the village, there are five apartments located around a spacious ballroom of 160 m2. The ballroom is available for weekend weddings, while the apartments can be rented for holiday stays from Monday to Friday.

One of the apartments, THE HOUSE OF FLOWERS, can accommodate up to 11 people. It features a fully-equipped kitchen, two showers, and two toilets. The rental rates are 700 euros for four nights, 450 euros for two nights, or 300 euros for one night.

THE HOUSES OF HELIANTHE and SQUIRREL are situated above each other. Hélianthe comprises a living room, kitchenette, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a washing machine, and a separate toilet. It also offers a south-facing terrace. The Squirrel house includes a dormitory with bunk beds for ten people, another dormitory for fifteen people, two double bedrooms, and two showers and toilets. These two houses combined can accommodate up to thirty people for a memorable family gathering or a group of friends. The rental price is 600 euros per night or 1500 euros for a four-night stay from Monday to Friday.

THE HOUSE OF FIL ROUGE is a three-level cottage. The ground floor features a 30 m2 dining room and kitchen, equipped with a large fireplace and peasant granite paving. There are also two double beds in this room. On the first floor, you will find a bathroom, a toilet, and a spacious double bedroom. The second floor consists of a dormitory with six beds. This cottage can accommodate around ten people and is available for 310 euros per night, 450 euros for two nights, or 750 euros for a four-night stay from Monday to Friday.

THE ROOM OF ETIENNE is a cozy studio with an area of 36 m2. It includes a kitchenette, a bathroom with toilet, a dining area, a large double bed, and a sofa. This cottage is perfect for two to four people and can be rented for 110 euros per night, 150 euros for two nights, or 250 euros for a four-night stay.

Finally, THE COUNTRYS OVEN BREAD is a delightful double room with a separate toilet and shower room. It is available for rent at 65 euros per night, 110 euros for two nights, or 200 euros for a four-night stay.
