This area leads into a spacious French-country kitchen and living area, complete with modern cupboards, new appliances (including a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, cooker, and washing machine), a cozy breakfast nook, and a separate dining table.
The Wine Cottage, a separate unit from the main house, is located on the opposite side of the courtyard, offering picturesque views up the Saussignac valley. Directions
To locate Chateau Haut Garrigue, follow these travel directions: Starting from Bordeaux airport, drive north on the ring road towards Paris Nantes. After crossing Pont d’Aquitaine, take exit 1 towards Libourne Perigueux and stay in the right lane. Proceed to exit 26, leading to Libourne. After covering a distance of 18.5 kilometers, take exit 9 to Libourne. Continue for another 6 kilometers and take the right exit towards Bergerac, St Emilion, and Libourne est. At the top of the ramp, turn right towards Bergerac and stay on this road, which will become the D936 as depicted on the map below. Once you reach Gardonne, which will take slightly over an hour from Bordeaux, turn right at the Renault garage onto the D4 road towards Saussignac. After traveling for 4 kilometers from Gardonne, you will come across a crossing with a district road (the D14) and the road to Saussignac will begin to ascend. Approximately 100 meters after crossing the district road, take the left fork indicated by a sign for Chat La Garrigue (us). Then, take the subsequent left turn just before the cemetery. Our property is the last one on that road. If coming from Bergerac, take the Bordeaux road and make a left turn at the Renault garage in Gardonne. Proceed with the directions mentioned above.
