Description for B&B:
Auberge Les Liards is located in the Livradois-Forez natural regional park, in a charming area known as the balcony of Livradois. The name is fitting, as it offers breathtaking views of the Auvergne volcano chain from various vantage points. The guesthouse itself sits atop an ancient volcano at an elevation of 800m, providing guests with magnificent vistas and unforgettable sunsets. The Livradois region is characterized by rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and quaint villages, making it an authentic and undiscovered gem for tourists. Here, one can explore for an entire day without encountering another visitor, immersing oneself in nature, tranquility, and the allure of charming golden-hued villages.
Our guestrooms are designed with comfort in mind and each features its own private bathroom. For larger families or groups of friends, we can connect multiple rooms. The guesthouse has a total of four rooms, accommodating up to 16 people. Two of these rooms are located on the second floor of the main building and share a cozy sitting lounge. The other two rooms are situated in a separate building, offering panoramic views of the Auvergne volcanoes. These rooms have been thoughtfully renovated using natural and ecological materials, with the newest addition, the Nepal room, exclusively furnished with such sustainable elements.
Imagine enjoying a delightful breakfast outdoors this summer, savoring the scenic backdrop and the melodic symphony of chirping birds. Afterwards, you can venture towards our resident animals, including sheep, horses, donkeys, geese, rabbits, and even peacocks, providing a delightful company. If you desire, you can also dine at our guesthouse, with half-board options available. Our kitchen proudly showcases local, fresh, and often organic ingredients. During the summer months, we host concerts on weekends (from July 15th to August 20th) which take place on the terrace, weather permitting, further enhancing your experience.
