This house, located on the main street of a charming village, has undergone an impressive restoration. Originally built in 1785 as the Wine storehouses of Thénacuries and later used as the barracks of Napoleon, this residence has a rich history. Its park was once considered the most beautiful in Europe. In the intervening years, the house was purchased by wine growers of pineau and cognac who used it to store their barrels. However, no renovations were done for over 90 years. It took more than a year of intensive restoration to bring back its former splendor and charm.We are delighted to share this exceptional heritage with you by creating comfortable and welcoming lodgings and spacious rooms. These accommodations combine the elegance of antique furniture with the authenticity of the stone walls. Additionally, we offer longer stay options for those who wish to explore our beautiful region and its many treasures. Our stables have been restored and redesigned to provide a pleasant and authentic setting, with a view of the fountain where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine of our area.
