Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry invite you to experience the utmost comfort and luxury of their exquisite 19th-century Chateau. Situated in the charming village of Salechan, nestled at the base of the Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored home offers five spacious and opulent rooms, each boasting en-suite facilities and breathtaking mountain views. Constructed in 1873, this three-story residence is set back from the Route Nationale, ensuring complete privacy and seclusion. The front of the house exudes grandeur with its impressive marble columns and balcony. Inside, guests will be enchanted by the sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and unique marble fireplaces adorning each room.

Our splendid rooms are aptly named after the picturesque views they showcase. The Chambre St Julien, located at the front of the house, beckons you to step onto its two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees and the beautiful Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This spacious south-facing room boasts a lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and a stunning marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom features a bath and shower, and also opens onto a private south-facing balcony.

Also commanding a prominent position at the front of the chateau is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. Its grand balcony offers mesmerizing views of Pic du Gar, ensuring a serene and tranquil stay. This well-appointed room impresses with its generous proportions, high ceiling, and beautiful wooden floor. Guests particularly adore the original fireplace and tastefully neutral decor. The en-suite bathroom features a large walk-in shower that spans the length of the room, with double doors leading to a private balcony.

Indulge in a delectable continental breakfast in our elegantly wood-paneled dining room. During the summer months, the doors can be opened onto a tiled terrace, creating a truly remarkable setting to start your day. In the evening, we invite you to join us for dinner in this exquisite space, adorned with a Louis 13th chandelier, where you can savor local delicacies.

By prior arrangement, we are delighted to welcome you to our dinner table for a memorable evening meal. Your dining experience will begin with an aperitif, followed by a three-course feast featuring regional specialties. Our experienced host, renowned for their culinary expertise, guarantees an unforgettable dining experience, as one recent guest described it as the finest in the area. This delightful meal will be accompanied by a selection of red or white wine and conclude with coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. Parents with young children may also request an earlier dining time to accommodate their routines.

We look forward to providing you with an unforgettable stay at our distinguished chateau, where comfort, luxury, and exceptional hospitality await.
