Description for B&B:

This 16th century Manor was constructed in 1535 under the direction of Robert de Thumery, during the reign of François I. The construction was completed in 1550 by Claude de Lorraine, the first Duke of Guise, under the rule of Henri II. Throughout history, this Manor has been frequented by Henri IV for hunting expeditions. In 1679, a chapel dedicated to St Peter and St Paul was added to the estate. Later, in 1893, the Windsor family, English industrialists, acquired the Hermos Manor and turned it into their family estate. Located just 70 minutes away from Paris, the Manor is surrounded by a 12-hectare park adorned with various species of trees. The walkway and the lake offer enchanting views, making the park a peaceful haven that truly captures the essence of Normandy. The Manor offers two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and WC. The "Peony" room features one double bed and two singles, with a picturesque view of the walkway and the lake. The "Hydrangea" room offers one double bed and one single, with a charming view of the orchard and the apple trees.
