La Poitevinière is a charming accommodation located in a historical house dating back to 1781. We offer a total of four guest rooms, including a spacious master suite with a cot, and a children's room with cozy bunk beds. Each room is furnished with comfortable queen size beds for a restful stay.

Situated in a popular tourist area, our location is perfect for exploring the region. We are only 30 minutes away from the beautiful Marais Poitevins, 40 minutes from the renowned Puy du Fou, and just 30 minutes from the sea. Additionally, we are conveniently located on the circuit of the abbeys of southern Vendée.

La Poitevinière provides a tranquil countryside retreat, complete with a lovely garden and blooming flowers. Despite our peaceful surroundings, essential amenities and services are easily accessible within a short 10-minute drive. These include medical facilities, a supermarket, three bakeries, a butcher, a caterer, and three restaurants. For added convenience, we offer bike rentals on-site, as well as private parking and complimentary wifi.

Description for Gite

This charming gite offers three cozy bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen size bed. One of the bedrooms also has an attached bathroom with a relaxing bath, along with a kettle stocked with a selection of herbal teas and coffee. Another bedroom features a convenient shower. The master bedroom is perfect for families, as it includes a crib and an adjoining children's room with bunk beds. In addition, the gite boasts a children's library and an adult library, along with a collection of board games for all to enjoy.

Outside, you can take advantage of the lovely garden, which provides various games for children to play. There is also a picnic table and a plancha for outdoor cooking enthusiasts. Additionally, breakfast can be arranged as an optional extra.

Directions

To access the destination by car, take the A83 motorway and exit at Sainte Hermine. If traveling by train, you can reach the destination by getting off at either Luçon station or La Roche sur Yon, which are both approximately 30 minutes away by car. Alternatively, you can fly into either Nantes Airport or La Rochelle.
