Description:
Description for B&B:
Canel is surrounded by 20 hectares of beautiful organic farmland, ancient woodlands, flourishing vineyards, and enchanting plum orchards, all offering breathtaking views. With a rich history of farming, the chateau has housed cows, calves, chickens, and provided fresh eggs, as well as cultivated vines for wine production, plums for prunes, and even flour for homemade bread. Currently, we have three adorable cats roaming the grounds, and we may welcome some chickens in the summer to provide guests with fresh eggs for a delightful breakfast experience. For a picturesque start to the day, breakfast is served on the courtyard terrace, allowing guests to savor the stunning vista of the nearby bastide town of Tournon d'Agenais. In the evenings, the same terrace serves as a serene spot to unwind while gazing at the magnificent night sky.
Each bedroom at Canel features a private bathroom with a shower and/or bath, complete with a hairdryer and a selection of toiletries. We provide all the necessary bed and bath linen, as well as towels for guests to enjoy by the pool.
Speaking of the pool, it is open all day, every day, inviting guests to take a refreshing dip whenever they please. Additionally, we have a large trampoline for both children and parents to enjoy some jumping fun, as well as a table-tennis table set up in the barn for some friendly competition.
Should you wish to indulge in a delightful dining experience, we offer a full 3-course meal upon reservation. Furthermore, any night of the week, we have a delectable selection of cheeses and/or cold meats, accompanied by freshly baked bread and local wine, for a delicious evening treat.
Canel is ideally located between Domaine de Lancement, a renowned local independent wine farmer, and Vin du Tsar, a highly regarded wine cooperative, both of which consistently win prestigious awards. This makes our chateau the perfect destination for wine enthusiasts looking to savor exceptional vintages.
Rooms at Canel are available starting from 47.50€ per night, providing excellent value for a memorable stay. Additionally, guests can enjoy a sumptuous meal for 18€, ensuring a truly satisfying culinary experience.
