Description for B&B:
Located in the southeastern region of France, in the picturesque area known as "Provence Gardoise," you will find the enchanting "Clos dHullias." Situated at the intersection of four counties - Gard, Vaucluse, Drôme, and Ardeche - this hidden gem is just 30km north of Uzès and conveniently positioned between Avignon and the Ardèche Gorges.Nestled high on a hill, surrounded by flourishing vineyards and groves of olives, almonds, and cherry trees, the "Clos dHullias" is a true testament to rural heritage. Dating back to the seventeenth century, this privately-owned hamlet offers an authentic experience to visitors. Whether you plan to stay for two nights, a week, or even longer, you can choose from three charming stone houses or three cozy guestrooms.
Experience the tranquility of the region by residing in the "Maison bleue," with its shaded terraces, or opt for the "Maison du hibou," a typical Provencal house. For a touch of medieval charm, select the "Maison de la tour," where the architectural style of a bygone era has been meticulously preserved. Alternatively, you can spend a couple of nights in the mulberry bedroom, laurel bedroom, or tower bedroom. If you're planning a special event or gathering, the entire site can also be booked for seminars, family reunions, or meetings with friends.
The secluded domaine, shielded from the mistral winds, offers a serene atmosphere. Set over two hectares of sprawling garrigue, olive trees, and verdant green oaks, the property boasts graceful terraces adorned with lavender, wild mint, thyme, and rosemary. Two stunning panoramic pools, measuring 12mx6m and 10mx5m respectively, provide the perfect place to unwind and take in the breathtaking surroundings.
The "Clos dHullias" is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with ample opportunities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Additionally, there are numerous fascinating historical and tourist sites to explore in the vicinity. Guests can also indulge in delightful meals carefully selected by "Gault et Millau 2008."
We are fluent in German and look forward to welcoming you to this idyllic retreat.
