The Boisseau rural cottage*** is located in southern Burgundy in the Morvan Regional Park, just 17 km from the Gallo-Roman city of Autun and 50 km from the wine capital, Beaune. This charming property, built in the 17th century, showcases the typical rural Morvan architecture and offers an enchanting site for nature lovers. Perched on a hillside with a picturesque view of Mont Beuvray (Bibracte), Boisseau provides a magnificent panorama that characterizes the Haut Morvan region.The rural cottage, classified with 3 "ears of corn," has been designed to comfortably accommodate six people. It is situated on the first floor above the owner's own apartment, ensuring complete independence. With a spacious layout of 125 m², it features a 30 m² bedroom with a double bed, a 16 m² bedroom with a double bed, and a 17 m² bedroom with two single beds. There is also a separate bathroom and toilet. The large living room includes a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, television, and telephone (using a card service available from all France Telecom agencies). All necessary bedding and baby facilities are provided, and there is a garage for convenience.
Outdoor facilities are also available for guests to enjoy, including chairs, a sun umbrella, a barbecue, and ample space for outdoor games. The property spans 1.2 hectares (3 acres) and includes the main house, two barns (one of which serves as a car shelter), an old baker's oven, a well and trough, a turf court, meadows, a large orchard, and a kitchen garden. Domestic pets are welcome, and two adult mountain bikes (included in the rental price) are available for guests to explore the natural beauty of the Morvan countryside through its many marked routes. Internet access is also provided.
