Welcome to "Au fil de l'eau", a delightful 17th-century cottage that has been completely renovated. Situated just a few kilometers away from the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites, this enchanting cottage offers a truly picturesque setting.Nestled at the entrance of Montolieu, a charming book village, and located on the banks of a tranquil river, this characterful cottage boasts a cozy living/dining room with a fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen, with its beautifully carved stone vault and a large bay window, opens onto a sunny terrace of 30m2. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the river and the garden.
The cottage features two lovely double bedrooms, one with a 1m60 bed and the other with a 1m40 bed. The bathroom is equipped with an authentic bathtub, an Italian shower, and a WC.
Stay connected with our free WIFI connection and make use of the barbecue on the terrace or play a game of petanque with the provided balls. Additionally, you can relax and cool off in the swimming pool. For those who enjoy fishing, trout fishing is possible right on site.
If you're in the mood for some outdoor activities, the municipal swimming pool and tennis court are just 1km away. If you prefer to explore the local area, you'll find shops and restaurants within a short walk of 300m.
