Welcome to Les Marmottes, a charming lodging located in Ornon Village, 38520 ORNON. With a size of 60 sq. m., Les Marmottes has been awarded two ears by the lodgings of France, ensuring quality accommodation for your stay.The lodging can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. It features two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and an additional bunk bed with a single bed. If needed, there is the option to rent an extra bedroom.
Inside, you will find a spacious living room of 20 sq. m., equipped with a TV and VCR. Adjacent to the living room is a small kitchen complete with a toaster, coffee maker, gas stove, and microwave. The bathroom has a bathtub, and there is a separate toilet. Additionally, there is a shared laundry area with a washer, dryer, and freezer available for your convenience.
Situated on the outskirts of the village, Les Marmottes is a character house that shares its location with the owner and other lodgings housing up to 5 people. It is also possible to rent both lodgings together, accommodating a total of 11 people, with a 10% discount during the non-peak season. The property boasts a large terrace measuring 150 sq. m., complete with shading, a swimming pool, garden furniture, a barbecue, and stunning views of the valley and Col d'Ornon. For outdoor entertainment, there are swings located in a small field just 50m away.
Located within the perimeter of the park des Ecrins, Les Marmottes offers easy access to various activities. Gîte du RDC
Bernard et son épouse sont sympathiques et chaleureux. Environs magnifiques. Belles randos à faire. Produits locaux excellents : Bergerie de la Lignarre (fromages, viande...) à La Pallud. Bon séjour d'une semaine en avril. Le gîte du dessus est plus lumineux.
Directions
Before reaching Bourg d'Oisans, turn right 2 kilometers earlier. Drive for 6 kilometers until you see the hamlet called "la Pallud." Continue for another 2 kilometers until you reach "Le Pont des Oulles," but do not cross the bridge! Just before the bridge, turn right. Drive for 800 meters and you will arrive at the hamlet "la Poyat." Keep going for another 2 kilometers and you will reach the parking area of ORNON. Leave your car here temporarily and walk 30 meters along the alleyway. On the right side, you will find the house with 7 velux on the roof. Go around the house, and the landlords, Dominique and Bernard LEFEBVRE, will be there to welcome you.
