This historical gem was renovated in 2004, and now offers spacious bedrooms adorned with exposed beams and stone, each equipped with a private bathroom. In the distance, you can admire the famous Mont Hautza and the impressive walls of Iparla.Your delightful host, Sandrine, prepares excellent breakfasts from scratch, ensuring a delightful start to your day. Meanwhile, her husband Jean-Paul is more than happy to share his extensive knowledge of hiking and mountain biking routes, allowing you to fully explore and appreciate the beauty of the area.
There are plenty of attractions to discover nearby, such as the picturesque village of Baïgorry. Only 50km away from the coast, you will be captivated by the striking contrast between the soaring peaks of the vineyards and the majestic Iparla Irouleguy. Countless hiking trails of varying difficulty levels surround you, including the enchanting forests of Iraty Hayri, where you can marvel at the preserved flora and fauna.
Just 10km away lies St Jean Pied de Port, an important stop on the St Jacques de Compostela pilgrimage route, accessible via the scenic pass of Roncesvalles. Directions
To reach Banca Aldudes, proceed through the village until you reach the road of the same name. At the roundabout, choose the Belexi road (also known as Chapelle Oilarandoi). Follow this narrow road for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you spot a sign on the left indicating the private road leading to our home.
