Description for Gite

Welcome to our beautiful gite! You will have the entire East wing of the house all to yourself, offering a spacious living area of approximately 240 m2. This charming space can comfortably accommodate two to seven people.

On the Garden Floor, you will find the impressive library, complete with a cozy fireplace and a grand piano Pleyel. From here, you can access the park through the loggia. The dining room features a stunning French ceiling, a large seventeenth-century hearth, as well as a TV and WiFi for your entertainment. For intimate and peaceful breakfasts, the small living room is the perfect spot. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual amenities and provides direct access to the park and the swimming pool.

Moving up to the First Floor, you will discover the charming bedrooms. Monsieur's bedroom offers a large double bed and picturesque views of the Brionnais through two windows. Madame's bedroom also boasts a spacious double bed and overlooks the beautiful park. The tower room serves as an antechamber with a single bed and grants access to the terrace overlooking the park. Additionally, there is a generous-sized bedroom with a double bed, providing breathtaking views of the Brionnais and the park through two windows. The bathroom on this floor is equipped with a bath, shower, and toilet.

Directions

Directions from Paris to Charolles:
To reach Charolles from Paris, begin by taking the A6 motorway towards Nevers Montargis for a distance of 71 km. Then, continue on the A77 for another 164 km. Once you reach Nevers, switch to the N7 and travel for 60 km until you reach Moulins. From Moulins, follow the signs to Mâcon using the N79 for a total of 75 km until you reach Charolles.

Directions from Geneva to Charolles:
To travel from Geneva to Charolles, start by taking the A40 motorway towards Paris. Take the exit towards A406/E62 Moulins / Lyon / Montceau-Les-Mines / Mâcon sud. Continue on the N79 and then take exit 12 towards Charolles.

Directions from Lyon to Charolles:
To reach Charolles from Lyon, take the A6 motorway towards Paris. Exit at Mâcon sud and then follow the signs to Moulins using the RN 79 until you reach Charolles.

Directions from Charolles to the Château de Vaulx:
When leaving Charolles, take the D985 road towards la Clayette. Pass through Changy-Tourny and continue until you reach a grade crossing. Approximately 1 km after the crossing, take the second right (be careful to choose the rightmost road). Look for a sign indicating Vaulx and avoid going towards the village of Saint-Julien-de-Civry.

As you ascend the hill, you will reach a crossroads. Take a right turn at the crossroads and follow the signs. Once you pass through the gate, park your vehicle in front of the greenhouse and ring the kitchen door.
