Located in the heart of the charming village of Nanteuil-en-Vallée in the Charente region, Villa Taillefer is a spacious private residence with a walled garden that overlooks the Canal des Moines and the river Argentor.The owners, Gareth and Lesley, have infused the house with their personal style, using vibrant colors and thoughtful design to create a cozy and tranquil ambiance. While maintaining a connection to the house's rich history, they have also ensured that guests enjoy modern comforts during their stay.
Guests can choose from three uniquely decorated en-suite bedrooms, with the Victor Hugo suite even featuring its own cozy salon. The garden offers various seating areas, providing guests with plenty of options to find a sunny or shaded spot to relax and unwind. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the spacious terrace or in the dining room. On Sundays, guests can also arrange for a table d'hôte dining experience. Additionally, there are two popular village restaurants just a stone's throw away.
Visitors with well-behaved and cat-friendly dogs are welcome to stay in the ground floor bedroom, where the hosts' own Cocker Spaniel, Isla, will be happy to greet them. Gareth and Lesley are fluent in both English and French, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.
