Le Chateau des Varennes is located 25 km from Toulouse, on the road to Revel (D2), two kilometers after Labastide Beauvoir. It was built in the 16th century by the Toulouse architect Dominique Bachelor. The castle is a charming and traditional French home, passed down through 22 generations of the same family.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a beautiful courtyard from the 18th century, forming a unique and harmonious "horseshoe" shape. Access to the main body of the castle is provided by a staircase adorned with stone cherubs.
Inside the castle, there are two large living rooms on the left and a library room and a married bedroom on the right. A beautiful brick staircase leads to two large vaulted rooms with a fireplace. On the first floor, there are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The spacious and bright rooms feature bright hues that harmonize with the classic volumes and exposed brick. Each room is decorated in a cheerful and charming manner, with canopies, daybeds, floral fabrics, and unique wall paintings. The rooms are furnished with family furniture or carefully selected antique pieces.
On the south side, the Chateau des Varennes overlooks a park with a breathtaking view of the Lauragais hills and the Pyrenees in the distance. The south-facing pool provides a tranquil and picturesque setting for relaxation and contemplation.
