Description for B&B:

This XVIIIth century "bastide" house is situated in a spacious garden that features a swimming pool, kiosk, and fish pond. Its three rooms are uniquely designed with various themes, each adorned with artifacts collected from travels. The "Route de la Soie" room will transport you to the Indian subcontinent, the "Route du Cacao" room has an African ambiance, and the "Route des Bastides" room embodies the essence of Provence.

Located on the border of Provence and Languedoc, facing the renowned vineyards and cellars of Chateauneuf du Pape, this house is only 10 minutes away from Avignon and its famous festival, as well as Orange and its "chorégies" performances. Additionally, it is a quick 20-minute drive to Uzès and 30 minutes to Nîmes. For those who enjoy kayaking and canyoning, the canyons of the Ardèche and Cèze rivers are a mere 30 minutes away. Marseille and Montpellier airports are about an hour's drive, while the TGV train station is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the house.

This house offers an ideal location at the crossroads of all the region's tourist activities and cultural events, while still providing the tranquility of a small southern village. The host, fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian, warmly welcomes guests with a cup of tea or a glass of wine depending on the time of arrival.

The hosts are delighted to assist guests in making the most of their stay, offering helpful advice and information about current activities and events. To ensure a comfortable stay for both guests and hosts, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1) Check-in is from 16:00 onwards, and check-out is before 11:00. Kindly inform the hosts in advance if you anticipate arriving late.

2) Smoking is not permitted inside the house, but guests may smoke in the garden while being mindful of the plants.

3) Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

4) The room will be prepared before your arrival, and the hosts will not enter it during your stay to respect your privacy. However, if you require additional cleaning during your stay, there will be a supplement of €20. For stays longer than a week, housekeeping will be provided free of charge in the middle of the stay.

5) Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 11:00 in the garden, or by the fireplace in case of inclement weather. If you prefer an earlier breakfast, please request it.

6) The swimming pool is available for use from 8:00 to 22:00, and guests are responsible for their own safety.

The "Road of Spices" room offers a unique experience reminiscent of Rajasthan. Located in the old cellars, this room features warm tones inspired by the Indian subcontinent. It is equipped with a 160-bed, a seating area, wifi, TV, a small refrigerator, and a private bathroom and toilet. Guests have direct access to the shaded courtyard, where breakfast is served under the linden tree during summer or by the fireplace during winter.
