Our rooms have been awarded 3 keys by Clévacances, guaranteeing a high level of comfort. The rates include a delicious breakfast served in a character-filled dining room, complete with wooden beams, a fireplace, and an antique dresser. Guests have a separate entrance for added privacy. The rooms also retain many original features such as beams, alcoves, four-poster beds, and antique floors.

Located between Nancy and Troyes, as well as Dijon and Reims, Joinville is a small historic city with a rich history. Welcome to the Bed and Breakfast of "Le Val du Roy" in Joinville. Our charming establishment offers four individually decorated guest rooms, each creating an authentic atmosphere that transports you back to the past. Experience the charm of canopy beds, antique furniture, traditional cupboards from Lorraine, and cozy alcoves, all surrounded by beautiful wooden beams, paneling, and vintage floors. The rooms are adorned with ancient trinkets, giving the impression that this seventeenth-century ambiance has been perfectly preserved over the centuries.

While we embrace the authenticity of the past, we have also ensured that modern comforts are not compromised. Glass basins and modern showers have been tastefully installed, perfectly blending the old with the new. Three shower rooms, concealed behind a screen, offer a private and spacious area for each room.

The "Antoinette de Bourbon" room features a lovely canopy bed and alcove, with a large separate bathroom that includes an antique bathtub and shower. This room can comfortably accommodate three people. The "Claude de Lorraine" room boasts an antique double bed, an old wardrobe, and various decorative elements such as a baby-basket and old sewing machine. It also has its own shower, toilet, and washbasin.

For the "Jean de Joinville" room, you will find two charming corner beds, an old wardrobe, and a double sink, along with a shower and toilet. The spacious "Mary Stuart" room boasts a double canopy bed with electric bedding, a sofa-bed for two additional guests, a dressing table, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is located on the mezzanine level. Each room is equipped with a TV, and complimentary WIFI is available throughout the house.

As a guest, you are welcome to utilize our fully-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, and oven. Relax in the cozy lounge area, which also features a TV. Additionally, you will have direct access to our grand, old, and enclosed garden through an independent entrance, ensuring your privacy and freedom.

Ancienne maison très romantique, chambres décorées avec le goût d'antan. On se croirait dans un autre temps. Petit-déjeuner parfait, accueil très chaleureux. Jolie décoration partout. A recommander!

Joinville can be found in the department of Haute-Marne, situated between Dijon and Reims, Nancy and Troyes, or Chaumont and Saint-Dizier. Once you arrive in Joinville, proceed towards Wassy and find the Hotel du Nord along the main road. After a short distance, you will notice the B&B "Le Val du Roy" on your left side, specifically at 11 Rue Camille Gillet. Look for the cast iron grates at the bottom of the garden. You may park your car on the sidewalk, and the owners will provide instructions on where to park for luggage. The address for that is 22 rue du Valleroy.
