The highlight of the village is undoubtedly the magnificent castle, majestically perched atop a towering limestone cliff that stretches over 150 meters. It transports you back to the 12th century, immersing you in the era of the noble barons of Beynac. To reach Jacquou, you will follow the old paved path leading up to the castle, adding to the allure of your stay.

The walls of our house were once an integral part of the medieval ramparts, and you can still see one of the openings that served as a strategic defense mechanism. The result is a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary comfort.

The traditional elements are evident in the walls, constructed with ocher stones that have witnessed over 500 years of history. Exposed wooden beams and the characteristic pointed window in the common room further enhance the authentic atmosphere.

On the other hand, modernity shines through in the well-equipped kitchen area, featuring a refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, four induction cooking plates, a combined oven grill-microwave, and a dining area with a table and four chairs made of Altuglas. The comfortable living area boasts a two-seater sofa, a pouf, nesting tables, and a flat-screen TV for your entertainment.
