Description for B&B:
The property offers five ensuite rooms, accommodating 2 to 3 people each. Each room is equipped with tea making facilities and has direct access to a balcony or the south facing garden terrace. The modern bathrooms are stocked with towels, hairdryers, and toiletries.Surrounding the house are gardens at the front and back, providing ample seating areas where guests can relax with a book from the library or peruse maps and guides to plan their activities for the next day. The gardens are home to lizards, salamanders, and various bird species, including regular sightings of Kites gliding overhead, but rest assured, they are not noisy. Additionally, there is a designated area for Petanque and a spa pool for guests to enjoy and soothe their muscles after a day of cycling or hiking in the area's beautiful mountain lakes.
Guests have access to a spacious games room that features table tennis, darts, a TV with a wide selection of DVDs and computer games. This room also houses a collection of books and guides. On chilly evenings, the wood-burning stove ensures a cozy atmosphere. A small kitchenette equipped with a fridge and microwave is available for guests to prepare packed lunches and snacks.
Adjacent to the games room, there is a storage area for bikes, a small workshop, and a ski and boot room. All bikes can be securely locked inside, and there is also a wash-down area outside. Furthermore, there is a garage that can accommodate off-road parking for motorbikes and a car, subject to availability.
Lastly, guests can start their day with a satisfying breakfast, including a variety of options such as bread, jams, croissants, yogurts, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and even porridge. Accompanied by coffee, chocolate, a selection of teas, and fruit juice, breakfast is a delightful way to begin the day.
Your hosts, Andy and Caroline, are excited to welcome you to their home.
