Description for B&B:
Welcome to the Relais du Passe-Hours! Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, a cultural or sporting holiday, or simply a convenient stopover, you've come to the right place.Located in the picturesque village of Cenans, in the heart of the Franche-Comté region, our relay is centrally positioned amidst various activities. Situated near Besançon, Vesoul, and the A36 motorway exit 4 (1), you'll find yourself in the countryside, yet close to major cities and important economic hubs.
During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to explore the charming surrounding villages. From Montbozon to Dampierre-sur-Linotte, Beaumotte-Aubertans to Loulans-Verchamp, and many more, each village offers its own unique charm and character. You can also venture further to discover the cantons of Rioz, Villersexel, and Rougemont.
Cenans is also known as the land of 7 rivers, including the linnet, Buthiers, Corcelle, Filaine, Tounolle, Quenoche, and Ognon. Particularly popular among fishermen, the Ognon river is where the linnet flows, creating a tranquil spot known as the "Hollow of the Linnet".
The Relais du Passe-Hours, once a coaching inn and attached to the historic "house of Treader", has been completely restored to ensure the utmost comfort for our guests. With 4 spacious bedrooms available, whether you stay for a night or a week, you'll experience the peace and happiness that comes with being close to nature.
Our hostess, Anne Delaborde, welcomes you to her table upon request, where you can indulge in balanced recipes made with local and seasonal ingredients, showcasing the flavors of the region.
When I decided to open the hotel in Cenans, I had the pleasure of meeting the Friends In Franche-Comté association, and their support has contributed to the success of the Relay.
The Relais du Passe-Hours is proud to be recognized as a Gîtes de France / Charmance 3-ear establishment.
