Description:

Description for B&B:

Located between the Medieval bastion of Mirepoix and the fortified village of Camon, in the impressive presence of Château de Lagarde, you will find Sibra, an ancient farmer complex that has been meticulously restored to meet modern comfort standards. Nestled within this enchanting setting is our guesthouse, named 'Mi-René', where we warmly welcome you throughout the year for an unforgettable holiday or rejuvenating mini-break.

Mirepoix itself is a charming little town that becomes a traffic-free haven during the summer months, allowing you to fully appreciate its historic arcades, delightful terraces, and picturesque squares. The highlight of the week is undoubtedly the bustling market day, which takes place each Monday and attracts a multitude of visitors. This vibrant event is not to be missed as it truly captures the essence of the town.

Situated just a few kilometers away from Mirepoix, the idyllic Sibra is home to our guesthouse, Mi-René, where we invite you to stay and explore the wonders of this extraordinary region.

Your gracious host is René Vanden Avenne, who is joined by his part-time assistant, Rose-Mary, the beloved spouse of his second life.

Directions

Upon reaching Mirepoix, continue in any direction until you exit the town. Then, follow the signs for Lavelanet for a few kilometers. When you reach the entrance of La Bastide de Bousignac, make a left turn towards Chalabre, Camon, and Château de Lagarde. Stay on this road until you encounter a sharp right turn. At this point, keep Lagarde to your left and take the D307 road a few hundred yards to the right. From here, you will have a clear view of Sibra, indicating you are nearly there. Take the first small road on the left, which is marked with a sign for SIBRA, and continue until you reach our gate and guesthouse, Mi-René.
