Located in the tranquil upper part of the village, \La Souvigne (awarded 3 wheatsheafs by Gîtes de France) is a charming stone-built cottage, tucked away in a peaceful corner near the village church. Originally operating as a successful bed and breakfast for two decades, we made the decision to transform it into a delightful furnished holiday home, or Gite, in 2015.Conveniently situated not far from major North/South (A20) and East/West (A89) motorways, our location offers easy access to various destinations.
The Gite comprises two cozy rooms, one featuring a spacious double bed, and the other equipped with two comfortable single beds. Both rooms include private sanitation facilities, and we provide complimentary towels and bed linen for your convenience. The sitting room features a zedbed for additional guests, as well as a modern flat screen TV with a French satellite decoder and DVD player. Stay connected with our WiFi, available throughout the entire house.
For those days when you prefer not to cook or dine out, we offer the option to have pre-prepared dishes that you can simply reheat. Further details can be found on our website.

Nous sommes venus à 3 reprises à La Souvigne en quelques années et, à chaque fois, nous la retrouvons comme une vieille amie que l'on revoit avec plaisir et émotion.Jacquie et Ian sont toujours aussi accueillants et leurs chambres plaisantes. Quant au repas, quel bonheur de déguster mets et vins de qualité tout en discutant avec des gens passionnés (ne parlons pas du prix, c'est juste incroyable!!).Nous reviendrons avec infiniment de bonheur, bien sûr!!!!Nous les remercions de tout coeur.

The GPS co-ordinates for our location are N 45°09’20" E 01°52’17". We have comprehensive itineraries with accompanying photos available on our website, covering all major routes. To reach Forgès, you can take the D1120 (formerly known as N120) which lies between Tulle and Argentat. It is located approximately 3 kilometers north of the junction with the D921 (formerly known as N121), which connects Brive and Argentat. If you are coming from the south, head towards Argentat and follow directions towards Tulle. From the north, follow signs for Aurillac via Tulle.
