Our property borders the serene stream La Rhue, which is perfect for fishing or leisurely paddling. Just a short 5-minute stroll will bring you to this hidden gem, where you can immerse yourself in the peacefulness of nature. Explore further and discover the enchanting waterfalls of Egliseneuve, with the first one being only a few minutes away.
For those seeking aquatic adventures, there are several clear freshwater lakes within a 15-minute drive, ideal for swimming. Our personal favorite is Lac de Lastioulles, offering beautiful surroundings and various water activities such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and pedal boating. Additionally, there are multiple outdoor swimming pools in the vicinity, ensuring ample opportunities for refreshing dips. During the summer, we provide a seasonal swimming pool with a 4-meter diameter at Maison van Stijn, perfect for guests of all ages. Rest assured, we prioritize the maintenance and water quality of the pool, guaranteeing a pleasurable experience.
Our three self-contained gites are designed for comfort and coziness, featuring high-quality furnishings and amenities. We have taken into consideration the needs of allergy sufferers when selecting the floors, bed linen, and pillows. Furthermore, we meticulously clean the gites to ensure a pristine environment for our guests. Each gite boasts its own terrace(s) equipped with ample garden furniture, and guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the entire garden. The tap water at Maison van Stijn is sourced from a natural spring and is perfectly safe to drink, with many claiming it to be even tastier than bottled water!
Parking is available in our private car park, conveniently located near your gite.
Whether you're planning a vacation throughout the year or seeking a winter sports getaway, our gites are available for hire to accommodate your needs. Additionally, we offer the option to rent our workshop for one or more days. Een authentieke saunabeleving
Ik had het voorrecht om een middagje proef te draaien in de houtgestookte sauna bij Maison van Stijn (Égliseneuve-d'Entraique).
De afgelopen maanden zijn ze namelijk druk bezig geweest om een inspirerende buiten ruimte te creëren, een wellnessdeck met daarbij een houtgestookte sauna.
Zodra je de prachtige sauna instapt ervaar je een oase van rust.
De houtgestookte kachel geeft natuurlijke warmte af en deze hoge stralingswarmte voelt prettig aan. Dit is echt een authentieke saunabeleving.
