Our goal is to provide you with a warm and inviting atmosphere during your stay. Whether you prefer basking in the sun, relaxing in the shade, or savoring a glass of wine on the terrace, our farmhouse offers the perfect setting.

Your hosts, Carol and Ted, are dedicated to ensuring that you have an unforgettable experience in the beautiful Berry countryside. They will go above and beyond to assist you in making the most of your stay. Please note that our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

Situated on 2 acres of picturesque countryside, our property boasts stunning landscaping with a variety of trees, shrubs, and vibrant flower borders. We invite you to explore our grounds, including our fruitful fruit and vegetable gardens, which provide a delightful harvest for both guests and ourselves throughout the year.

Indulge in a relaxing dining experience under the garden pergola, weather permitting. Our evening meals often feature organic and seasonal produce sourced from our own garden. We take pride in preparing meals to accommodate any dietary needs, including vegetarian options.

For your convenience, our pet-friendly room is located on the ground floor, ensuring easy access for you and your furry friend. Simply let us know in advance if you plan to bring your well-behaved pet, and we will gladly accommodate if our pet-friendly room is available.

Despite our peaceful and tranquil surroundings, our location is easily accessible from the motorway, making Aux Prés du Berry an ideal destination for a week-long holiday or a convenient stopover for travelers heading to the South of France and the Mediterranean. We are a 6-hour drive from Calais and just 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. Limoges and Poitiers airports are within a 1-1.5-hour drive respectively. Additionally, the main train route from Paris to Toulouse stops nearby in the towns of Argenton sur Creuse or Chateauroux.

Surrounded by captivating tourist sites, you won't run out of things to explore. The historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse is a mere 8 km away, while Chateauroux, the capital of Indre (Department 36), is within a 30 km radius. If you're seeking stunning views and water sports, the Eguzon lake-park and the Three Lakes district are a short 20-minute drive upstream. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée conviviale.
Si vous cherchez ou dormir en descendant dans le sud, c'est une bonne adresse (également pour parfaire votre anglais...)

Directions

To reach Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, follow these travel directions:

Take the exit at junction 17 from the A20 motorway. Look for signs indicating Montlucon, La Chatre, Neuvy Saint-Sepulcre, D927. Follow D927 for approximately 6 km. Look for a small lake on your right-hand side. Just after the lake, you will see an off-road to your right, which is the D30 towards Chavin. Look for our sign, Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast. Take this road and continue for 4 km. At the stop sign, turn right into the hamlet of Bonnilly. In case you miss the turn on the D927, keep an eye out for a small airport on the right. The next road after the airport is the new D40 towards Chavin. The hamlet of Bonnilly will be the first one you come across. If you pass it, you've gone too far. We are located on the third street on the right. Look for a sign that leads you down our road. The road may be narrow, but keep going until you reach the end. You will see our sign as well as the Gites de France sign.
