Additionally, the expansive garden is at your disposal, and there is ample private and secure parking available on-site.

Description for Gite

This charming farmhouse in the serene Vienne countryside of the Poitou Charente department has recently undergone renovations. Situated in an area with its own unique micro-climate, it is the second sunniest location in all of France. The gite offers three cozy rooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds, all of which have their own private bathrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. The lounge area is tastefully furnished with comfortable settees and chairs, along with an English/French flatscreen TV. Stay connected with free WiFi throughout your stay. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and an abundance of crockery and cutlery. Outside, a lovely garden awaits you with a table and chairs, a barbecue, and garden loungers for relaxation.

Nearby, the picturesque village of St Martin LArs offers two bars/restaurants, a village shop, and a recreational lake with a beach, perfect for children. Enjoy the playground, boating, and fishing activities available on the lake. The gite is conveniently located just 20 minutes away from the beautiful riverside town of Confolens, while the cities of Poitiers and Limoges are within an hour's drive. If you enjoy outdoor adventures, there is a well-marked network of walking trails nearby. The vibrant town of L'Isle Jourdain, a mere 10-minute drive away, comes alive during the summer months with its bars, pizzerias, and restaurants. Directions

Directions from the north: Start by taking the D741 road from Poitiers towards Confolens. When you reach the junction marked "Le Vigeant/LIsle Jourdain" (the D10), turn left. Then, take the first left marked "La Brunetiere, Viviers, St Martin LArs". Keep following this road for slightly less than 1km, and you will reach the hamlet of Viviers. Take the first right, and our house will be the third one on the right.

Directions from the south: Begin by taking the D948 road from Confolens to Pressac. Just before leaving Pressac, look for the road on the right marked D741 (Poitiers) and turn onto it. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the D10, which is signed as "Le Vigeant/LIsle Jourdain". Turn right onto this road and then take the first left marked "La Brunetiere, Viviers, St Martin LArs". Follow this road for slightly less than 1km, and you will arrive at the hamlet of Viviers. Take the first right, and our house will be the third one on the right.
