Description for B&B:
My nurse husband and I, who works as a heavy vehicle driver, embarked on an exciting and slightly unconventional project. We decided to undertake the complete renovation of a charming 1929 mansion, aiming to infuse it with modern comforts while restoring its former beauty. Our ultimate goal was to transform it into a magnificent bed and breakfast. Situated in the heart of the breathtaking Livradois Forez in Auvergne, we were inspired to create a haven for travelers by offering two guest rooms, eight campsites, a delightful treehouse, and two cozy chalets nestled within the enchanting forest. Our establishment is located within a sprawling and meticulously landscaped park spanning 6,400 m². This tranquil setting provides an idyllic living environment amidst the stunning Thiers mountains. Only 10 km away from Thiers, renowned as the capital of cutlery, and within a 50 km radius of Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy, our guests have the opportunity to fully explore and appreciate the beauty of our remarkable region.
We affectionately named our residence "E lu chantauziau," which translates to "birdsong" in the local Auvergnat dialect. The park boasts several natural springs and frequently attracts a delightful array of wildlife. Additionally, we have our own cherished pets who reside here with us.
To enhance your stay, we offer a well-stocked library, an assortment of board games, a charming henhouse, a flourishing garden, and numerous spaces designated for relaxation and enjoying the great outdoors.
Furthermore, we extend a warm welcome to your beloved four-legged companions, as we understand the importance of including them in your travel experiences.
