With its charming Provençal character, Die showcases narrow, intertwining streets that showcase a rich heritage of both archaeological and religious significance. The surrounding landscape consists of gentle foothills that open up to the plain of the Drôme river, which borders the city to the south. The water is pristine and the riverbanks wild, providing opportunities for swimming, kayaking, leisurely naps, and picnics. To the north, the majestic cliffs of Glandasse reach an altitude of 2000 meters, offering a glimpse of the breathtaking high plateaus of Vercors. Numerous hiking trails start from the Tourist Center, where professionals provide a wide range of mountain-related activities such as climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, and guided tours to discover the local vulture population and flora.

One of the town's highlights is its bustling market, which takes place twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Here, visitors can find an abundance of excellent local products sold by small-scale producers, often organic. From fresh fruits and vegetables to trout, turkeys, Diois lambs, gossips and ham from Square Peak, cheeses, honeys, and jams, the market is a treasure trove of culinary delights. Not to be missed are the homemade ravioli, a true local specialty.

In the latter half of June, Die becomes even more captivating as transhumant shepherds and their flocks pass through the town, making their way to the plateau pastures. This spectacle can be witnessed as they parade through the market, adding an extra touch of charm to the town's already vibrant atmosphere.
