Description for Gite
Welcome to our peaceful retreat, "To the Pleasures of Cagire," where you can indulge in the refreshing mountain air. As we are unable to stay here year-round before retiring, we have transformed this place into a haven for nature enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility, just like us. Nestled in the heart of the ESM valley, in the charming village of Sengouagnet, part of the ASPET Township, this village house is located in a small hamlet consisting of a dozen buildings at the end of a quiet road. Spanning two levels, this cozy abode offers a serene and verdant environment, even during the summer months. With two double beds (140 cm), one single bed (90 cm), and a sofa bed that can be divided into two rooms, you'll have ample space to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. During springtime, you will be enchanted by the blossoming flowers during your mountain hikes. Spotting deer along the path will be a common occurrence in the summer, while the autumn brings the captivating sound of deer calls just outside your windows. In winter, you can delight in skiing or snowshoeing at the nearby Mourtis station (16 km away). Situated at an elevation of 650 meters above sea level, facing the majestic PALOUMERE Peak (1608 m) and alongside Cagire (1902 m), you will have the perfect opportunity to relax and embark on breathtaking hikes right from your doorstep.Reviews
