Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming bed and breakfast located in a beautifully preserved 16th century manor near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-Day beaches. Nestled in the peaceful countryside, our manor farm offers a tranquil retreat for our guests.
As you approach, a picturesque poplar alley leads you to the impressive manor and its authentic farm buildings, including a cider-press and old arches.
Our bed and breakfast accommodations are situated on the first and second floors, accessible via a delightful spiral stone staircase. With five comfortable rooms available, including one suite with two rooms, we can accommodate up to 15 guests. Each room features queen size beds and some even boast four-poster beds for added luxury.
The central location of our manor allows for easy exploration of numerous points of interest in the surrounding area. Discover the fascinating "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, embark on a day trip to the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, or pay homage to history at the renowned D-Day beaches and their monuments, such as Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Sainte Mère l'Eglise.
Steeped in history, our main building dates back to the 16th century, with foundations that trace back even further. Significant renovations were carried out during the 18th century, adding to the manor's grandeur. The setting itself can be traced back to the Gallo-Roman period, as Savigny was once connected to the famous town of Alauma. The property is bordered by the ancient Roman causeway of Cosedia, further enhancing its historical significance.
We invite you to experience the charm and history of our manor farm bed and breakfast, where a warm welcome awaits you in a serene and idyllic environment.
