Experience a delightful and peaceful holiday at our charming and cozy holiday cottage in South Vendée, near the Marais Poitevin. Perfect for families or friends, this tastefully decorated cottage is situated in an authentic and magnificent setting.

Designed to comfortably accommodate 2 to 6 people, our functional cottage is located by the river Vendée. It features 3 bedrooms with 1 double bed each, a spacious 30m2 living room with a comfortable leather sofa and a cozy fireplace (wood provided), a well-equipped independent kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, gas stove, etc.), a utility room, 2 shower rooms (one with a shower), 2 toilets, and air conditioning.

Outside, you can enjoy a beautiful green park with a petanque court (balls provided), loungers, outdoor furniture, and a barbecue. The serene and exceptional surroundings of the cottage provide privacy and tranquility for those seeking a peaceful and high-quality holiday experience.

For fishing enthusiasts, our cottage offers an exceptional setting right by the river, allowing you to relax on our terrace while keeping an eye on your fishing rod. The flowered terrace provides direct access to the river and two pontoons.

During your stay, you will have access to various amenities, including four bicycles for exploring the natural surroundings, a boat (with life jackets) for discovering the Green Venice, and a private petanque court. We also offer the possibility to rent linen (sheets, towels, and kitchen linens) upon reservation.

Other amenities include unlimited high-speed internet access with free WiFi, access to Orange TV, and free unlimited calls to landlines. Our cottage also provides a library, board games, and documentation about the region. Nearby, you will find restaurants, markets with local products, a café-grocery store, and a bakery in the village.

The location of our cottage is ideal, with attractions such as Mervent and Vouvant (25 km) offering a lake, an attractive park, a national forest, an animal park, and various activities for all ages. Other nearby attractions include La Rochelle/Ile de Ré (30 km), Niort (40 km), Marans (8 km) where you can rent motorboats, and the village of La Taillée (1 km). The famous Puy du Fou theme park is a must-visit at 70 km. The beautiful beaches of the Vendée coast, including Laiguillon, La Tranche, and La Faute, are just 30 km away. Charron, a renowned fishing village known for its mussels, is also nearby at 20 km.

We offer rentals throughout the year, for one or more weeks. Our rates range from 330 to 500 per week, depending on the season. Our rates include bike loans, boat usage, access to the petanque court, WiFi internet access, Orange TV, and free phone calls.
