All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and wifi for your convenience.Situated southwest of the city of Tours, Ballan-Miré is now a part of the coveted Tours-Val-de-Loire metropolis. Our location offers a delightful blend of Touraine countryside charm, where the tranquility of nature harmonizes with the ancient stones of majestic castles.
Would you like to go for a jog along the picturesque riverbank of the Cher or take a leisurely stroll around the scenic Lac des Bretonnières? Perhaps you would appreciate the luxury of playing golf at a prestigious course adjacent to a more accessible one? Additionally, within a two-kilometer radius, you can indulge in activities such as horseback riding, disc golf, tree climbing, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk.
Our family has owned this estate since 1753 when La Fuye was gifted to us on our wedding day. We cherish this legacy and are constantly exploring new ways to utilize and enhance the domain. Surrounding us is a region rich in history, adorned with beautiful architecture, and blessed with breathtaking landscapes, including the untamed riverbank of the Loire. Our house is conveniently located on the Tours-Villandry axis, in close proximity to the "Loire à vélo" route. We are also within reach of numerous remarkable castles, such as Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais, and offer access to over thirty castles of great significance, including Chenonceau, Amboise, Loches, and Rigny-Ussé. Lastly, you will be staying near a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enveloped by a natural area that we deeply value and strive to preserve.
