The Dubard family settled in the Purple Périgord in the late 70s to establish a wine estate in the Bergerac and Montravel AOC regions. Their wines, "Château Laulerie" and "Domaine du Gouyat," have gained a strong reputation over the years.In 2000, the Dubard family revitalized the Farcies du Pech' wine estate in the Pécharmant AOC area. Through vineyard and cellar restructuring, Les Farcies du Pech' wine has become one of the top Bergerac wines.
The restored Les Farcies du Pech' castle, reflecting the style of the 18th century, offers luxurious bed-and-breakfast accommodations amidst the Pécharmant vineyards. Situated on the hills overlooking the historic town of Bergerac, a stay at Les Farcies du Pech' allows guests to explore the picturesque landscapes of the Dordogne valley as well as indulge in its renowned wines and gastronomy.
The castle features five lavish bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and WC. Each room is tastefully furnished in the style of the 18th century, showcasing its unique personality.
Marie, the hostess, will assist guests in getting acquainted with the castle and serve a traditional French breakfast in the charming kitchen.
The rate for a double room, including breakfast and satellite TV, is €100 per night. Les Farcies du Pech' is open from March 15th to November 15th.
