This family house, which has stood for over 50 years, remains hidden from the road. Over the course of this half-century, it has been transformed into a haven of tranquility and peacefulness, all while preserving and respecting the character of the old stones and materials. Stephan and Julia will warmly welcome you into this delightful abode, offering you a convivial atmosphere. You will have the pleasure of enjoying the various spaces at your disposal, whether you seek solace or wish to relax with your family in one of the five elegant rooms available (suitable for 2 to 3 persons each), including a double room for 4 to 5 persons, complete with private showers or baths and toilets. These spaces, decorated with simplicity, delicacy, and elegance, possess the power to enchant you. Among them are a spacious living room adorned with two fireplaces, a cozy salon perfect for games and reading, a music corner with a piano and other instruments, summer and winter dining rooms, an internet room equipped with wifi, a large terrace, and a park. Additionally, a swimming pool will be added to the estate in the summer of 2007. Within the estate's grounds, you will find a shaded parking area as well as a covered garage. La Bichonnière is conveniently located near numerous tourist attractions, including Vézelay, the Abbey of Pontigny, the castles of Guédélon, Saint Fargeau, and Ratilly. It is also in close proximity to an Adventure Park, the Colette Museum, Saint-Amand en Puisaye renowned for its pottery, and the Boutissaint Park with its diverse wildlife. After exploring the surroundings of Toucy, the birthplace of Pierre Larousse, where you can embark on a cycling adventure, you can also indulge in swimming and various water sports at Lake Bourdon. Furthermore, delightful hikes through the forest or barge excursions along the Yonne River or the Burgundy Canal await you.
