Lourdes, a mere 40-minute drive away, is renowned as Europe's most famous pilgrimage site. Additionally, the Gascony town of Auch, the birthplace of d'Artagnan, the capital of South West France, Toulouse, the medieval town of Carcassonne, and the Atlantic coast of Biarritz are all easily accessible within two hours. For those interested in the Mediterranean, the drive to Perpignan takes approximately three hours through the beautiful Languedoc region.
