Description for Gite

Welcome to Les Messauts, where we offer the rental of five comfortable gites suitable for 2 to 8 persons. Each gite features bedrooms on the first floor, a fully equipped kitchen corner, electrical heating, and extra sofa-beds in the living room. Additionally, all gites have their own bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Nestled within a restored farmhouse, our gites are surrounded by a large garden and a refreshing swimming pool. We warmly welcome groups and assure you that English is spoken here.

Les Messauts is ideally located on the bank of the picturesque "canal lateral," a waterway adorned with numerous bridges and locks. This canal connects the Mediterranean Sea (canal du midi) to the charming city of Bordeaux (canal latéral). Our region is renowned for its vineyards, chateaux, medieval towns, historic monuments, museums, and stunning gardens. Moreover, it is a vibrant hub for music and dance festivals, bustling markets, and delightful brocantes.

If you seek tranquility, Les Messauts is the perfect destination. The local area offers a wide range of activities, including golf, cycling, horse riding, walking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming. And of course, no visit would be complete without sampling and purchasing wine from one of the many nearby vineyards. Some of the famous wine regions in close proximity include Graves, Sauternais, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Entre Deux Mers, Première Côtes de Bordeaux, Côtes de Bergerac, and Monbazillac.

Come and experience the beauty and serenity of Les Messauts, where comfort, nature, and the pleasures of the surrounding area await you.
