Description for B&B:

Véronique and Jean Pierre Duleux have found their haven in the magnificent Domaine de la Carrère, a historic residence dating back to the 17th century. This remarkable abode has welcomed noble figures, merchants, and traders throughout its rich history, having been constructed during the reign of Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. Nestled in Arthez-de-Béarn in the Pyrénées Atlantique region, Domaine de la Carrère is perfectly situated between the stunning mountains and the captivating sea.

Within a short 20-minute drive, you will find yourself in the enchanting city of PAU, often referred to as the Cité d'Henri IV, where you can experience the epitome of French culture, dynamism, and beauty. A mere 40-minute journey will lead you to the glamorous coastal town of BIARRITZ. If you venture further, within an hour, you can reach the majestic PYRENEES mountains and even cross the border into SPAIN. Additionally, the charming town of ORTHEZ is just a quick 10-minute drive away.

Our photo gallery showcases two delightful and spacious bedroom suites, each featuring a dressing room. You can choose between two 4-ft single beds or an antique double bed. The suites also boast en-suite large shower rooms equipped with a power shower, double sink unit, toilet, hairdryer, dressing gowns, and toiletries. For your convenience, we provide tea and coffee facilities, as well as a TV.

Upon request, we offer a delightful Table d'hôtes experience that includes a delectable dinner complete with an apéritif, starter, main course, sweet, and wine. Of course, coffee is also included. Véronique and Jean Pierre warmly welcome you to Domaine de la Carrère while ensuring your privacy is respected throughout your stay.
